Well let’s talk about the Tantas, the four tantas are the embodiment of a fraught, strength, love, justice and not sure about the last yet. “ I haven’t ran into Prav, but you think Sila was interesting? I can’t even tell you much about the Tantas.” I think the combat is good and I like some of the boss fights, but that’s it. I’m just not finding much to praise about it. I’m actually shocked this is a PS5 only game because the way NPCs look are worse than things I’ve seen in the PS3 generation. Watch idle animations for NPCs like in the center of Cipal the kids eating by just moving their hands to their face, no mouth movement, and they loop awkwardly. That was god awful and so boring to do and I can’t stand the look of NPCs and his voice acting forced me to mute my TV. Now, I bought the game and I don’t want to give up on it, but i’m struggling hard to enjoy anything in it.ĭid you do that quest with Pilo? I think it’s in Ch 4. There’s also a trophy for upgrading all spells and the challenges you do for those are just mind numbing to get done like one was do the charge stone spell and do back attacks 45 times and it’s just boring to do. I just don’t find any of those things ti be particularly fun to do. You have towers, belfrys, labrynths, monuments, trials, and just an Sabine amount of treasure chests everywhere. It has a monumental amount of the same things to do over, and over, and over, again. So, let’s talk about the game and what you do. I can’t say there’s been anything interesting or compelling whatsoever. There’s 13 chapters total and I’m now on 7. The story has literally been us coming to this world, we find some researcher guy who’s half infected, we go after Sila because she’s pissed we’re trespassers and some inconsequential character is a casualty, we meet up with Sila, beat her (I have no idea about Sila’s story, come back to town and blight hits the town. I haven’t ran into Prav, but you think Sila was interesting? I can’t even tell you much about the Tantas. People are really doing themselves a disservice judging this game on such small metrics.ĬrimsonWing69 204d ago (Edited 204d ago ) Even as a character she’s developing rather interestingly in this foreign world she’s trying to escape.Īnd finally we have a protagonist that doesn’t get whisked into a different world and immediately think “I need to murder these tyrants, it’s just because I’m not really from here!” She actually challenges the burden of being a “Saviour” and the responsibility that comes with it. I have finally transitioned from snapping the menu up to style switching with the d-pad meaning you have several different r ways to actually play with her to your liking.Īfter 25 hours I strongly disagree with the negative reviews. It encourages you to play different styles. Throw that in with challenges that boost her magic and stats based on completing tasks. Traversal challenges and even protect the villagers. They have variable challenges from big boss dungeons to big boss fight time attacks. The powers are WAY more flushed out then the demo represented and even my biggest gripe with the sensitivity of the controls was fixed in the actual final build. Always a treasure to find, power up station to reach, enemies to fight from 3 at a time to like 40, the world was design extremely well, I actually like cuff and freys banner mostly because cuff seems to be low key manipulative. Traversing the world covering vast distances in seconds feels great. And how many non ps5 owners you think still bandwagon hating this game without playing the demo? Pretty sure it’s a lot, I have been playing it over 25 hours now and I love every part of it.
